UC-sponsored medical benefits include behavioral health benefits. See below for details about your plan. For those enrolled in non-Medicare plans The first three UBH in-network outpatient mental health visits are covered with no co-payment. To ensure full coverage of your services, contact UBH for authorization of your visits. You can obtain authorization for in-network services online. For non-Medicare Kaiser members It is important to note that Kaiser Permanente and UBH do not coordinate care or costs of behavioral health services. Kaiser will not pay services received through UBH providers. In the same way, UBH will not pay for services received through a Kaiser provider or facility. Additionally, each plan has specific requirements for behavioral health services, and these do not cross over between the plans. Therefore, it is critical that you select behavioral health services carefully and follow all of the plan guidelines and authorization requirements for the behavioral health services plan you select. For those enrolled in Medicare plans Anthem Blue Cross PPO, PPO without prescription drug plan and Anthem Blue Cross PLUS members have benefits provided through UBH. The Anthem Blue Cross PPO plans include out-of-network coverage. The first three UBH in-network outpatient mental health visits are covered with no co-payment.
