UC offers two dental plans: Delta Dental PPO and the DentalCare® USA (formerly PMI). Currently, UC pays the full premium. To help you decide which plan is best for you and your family, the Dental Benefits Summary [PDF] provides a comparison of the benefits each UC-sponsored dental plan offers. If there is a specific dentist you would like to use, you may want to call that dentist directly to be sure he or she participates in the dental plan you select.
Eligibility
If you were enrolled in a dental plan as an active employee and elected to continue coverage when you retired, your coverage continues.

- If you have lost other group insurance.
