How can I find the information I need?

The fastest way to find what you’re looking for is to use UCnet’s main menu at the top of the page. Just hover over the menu to see what’s in each section.

You can also use the search tool at the top of each page. If you still can’t find what you’re looking for, please contact us at ucnet@ucop.edu and we’ll try to help you locate it.

How is UCnet different from UC’s other systemwide websites?

UCnet, one of three websites maintained by UC Office of the President, is the central hub for information about what it means to be part of the UC faculty, staff and retiree community.

UniversityofCalifornia.edu is UC’s website for the general public, designed to showcase the breadth and depth of UC and convey UC’s promise and value.

UCOP.edu provides detailed information about UC governance and about the UC Office of the President’s administration, programs and resources.

What is the relationship between UCnet, UCPath online and UC Retirement At Your Service (UCRAYS)?

Employees at UC campuses and medical centers use their UCPath benefits account to get personalized information about their pay and benefits and to perform transactions related to payroll and medical benefits — such as adding a family member to a medical plan or updating payroll deductions.

Employees use UCRAYS to manage their UC Retirement Plan (UCRP) benefits. Retirees use UCRAYS to manage their UCRP and retiree health benefits.

UCnet offers comprehensive information about all your UC benefits, including medical and retirement benefits and much more, along with easy access to your benefits accounts. You’ll also find timely UC news, policy updates, tools and resources, and stories about the university and the people who work here.
